Using water flossers is the way to a clean and pristine smile, especially if you have a tough time flossing between your teeth. However, because of their high-tech qualities, using water flossers can be a bit difficult. So, if you struggle while cleaning your smile with a water flosser, Dr. Youssef Saad and our dental team are more than happy to help you. We have the instructions and tips you’re looking for.

To begin, fill the flosser’s tank with water—the temperature of the water doesn’t matter too much, but many prefer to use lukewarm water, especially if they have sensitive teeth and gums. Then, put the tank on the base and secure the lid on top. Next, choose the specific cleaning tip you would like to use to clean the crevices of your smile and then click it firmly on the top of the wand. Then, choose a comfortable pressure level for the flosser to use to clean your teeth.

While cleaning your teeth, wrap your lips around the wand (this will keep the water from spraying). Then, turn the flosser on.

Then, floss the back teeth by aiming the tip just above the gumline and then rinse the entire crevice. Move from tooth to tooth with this same technique. When you have cleaned between each chomper, turn the flosser off and remove the tip by pressing the eject button.

As you can see, using a water flosser in Fort Worth, Texas, is simple and easy.
